How credits work
Conversion credits scale with conversion time
Longer conversions use more compute resources, so they cost more to run. In most cases, plans and subscriptions consume roughly one credit for each minute of successful conversion time.
Every conversion type also has a base credit cost. Standard conversions usually start at one credit, then use more credits for each additional minute if the job runs longer than one minute.
Some premium conversion types require noticeably more processing power on our side, so those start from a two-credit minimum instead. Only successful conversions count toward your balance.

Why is there a base credit charge per conversion?
Most conversions finish in only a few seconds, and that is already reflected in how we price the service. The base credit amount makes costs more predictable by combining a minimum charge per conversion type with the total conversion time.
Can I add more credits to my account?
Yes. You can purchase additional credits whenever your account needs them.
When can I cancel or change my subscription?
You can cancel at any time. There is no minimum term. You can also switch to a different plan whenever you want, but any remaining conversion credits from the previous subscription will expire when the plan changes.
